a. i-HIS Hospital Management Windows Software
In 2018, we served a Japanese client, a provider of a digital compacted solution to manage Patients’ Profiles in more than 150 hospitals in Japan. Our client had used it for a long time, however, it turned out to become outdated and no longer compatible with the other advanced gadgets at hospitals. This explained why they headed to SotaTek to find out the alternative solution.
Although we had to face some challenges during the executive process, such as complicated features and professional regulations in the Japanese Medical Industry, our experts ended up with over 1 million code lines after 1.5 years. We came up with an up-to-date technology which is C# .Net and Oracle framework. To be more specific, this new system is integrated with a number of cutting-edge technologies, including Connecting with DICOM devices to send and receive X-Ray and CT data, Reading and analyzing test results directly from hospital appliances, or Offering API Interface to showcase and update data on gadget devices,… This software was immediately adopted in more than 10 Japanese Hospitals at that time and proved to be highly efficient.
b. Medical AI Platform
We also seized an opportunity to collaborate with Korean partners in order to come up with a Medical AI Web Platform. After several intensive two-way communications, we gained deep insights into their business visions and finally, managed to provide them with a technology, which is NodeJS, Java, C++, Orthanc, and DCMTK. This AI platform is able to collect, label, train, and test medical images from a wide range of medical institutions. After the tracking process, it analyzes the images and automatically detects different kinds of diseases such as Brain Aneurysm, Spine Fracture, and Dental Cyst.
