SotaTek received the project from another team, left over without any documents or guidance. Despite this challenge, the company was able to rewrite all infrastructure within 2 weeks to cover:

Scalability: SafeRE leverages AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) to orchestrate containerized applications, allowing for seamless scaling of backend services based on demand. By utilizing AWS CloudFront and S3 for content delivery and storage, respectively, SafeRE ensures that static assets are cached and delivered globally with low latency, enhancing scalability and user experience.

Data Security and Privacy: SafeRE employs a multi-layered approach to data security. Sensitive data is stored encrypted in AWS RDS (Relational Database Service), and user authentication and access control are managed through AWS IAM (Identity and Access Management). Utilizing AWS Security Hub for continuous security monitoring and AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall) for protecting against common web exploits, SafeRE enhances data security and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Platform Reliability and Uptime: SafeRE ensures high availability and reliability through redundant architecture and automated failover mechanisms. Using AWS EKS with auto-scaling capabilities and AWS S3 for data replication across multiple availability zones, SafeRE minimizes downtime and service disruptions. Additionally, SafeRE implements centralized logging with ElasticSearch and Kibana, enabling real-time monitoring and analysis of system performance and health.
